Sarah Thompson is the Global CEO of Droga5, a New York-based advertising agency that works across platforms including broadcast, digital, print, social and out of home.
The company was founded in 2006, and Thompson joined in 2008 as General Manager. She was promoted to President 2 years later, to CEO in 2013, and became Global CEO in 2014. Prior to working at Droga5, she worked at Bartle Bogle Hegarty (BBH) New York.
Droga5 has run campaigns for, among others, The New York Times, Newcastle Brown Ale and Android. It has been named Agency of the Year 13 times.
As leader of Droga5, Thompson has developed the business, taking advantage of new opportunities, and expanding the company’s portfolio. She has ensured the company stays ahead of the innovative curve.
In 2012, Thompson was personally recognised with the Advertising Women of New York’s Quantum Leap Award.
