Job description

New Media Co is looking for a Search / PPC Manager to take ownership and manage the agency’s top tier PPC accounts.

As an advocate of best practice, you will work towards meeting targets associated with the paid search activity by identifying and implementing any PPC optimisations needed to achieve client business goals. You have a desire for continuous improvement and always seek new opportunities for growing the client business and for improving internal team processes & procedures. You will be responsible for building and managing ongoing client relationships and liaising with internal stakeholders involved in digital planning.

Required qualifications include up to 2-3+ years of PPC (preferably agency) experience, excellent communication, client facing and numerical skills, as well as exceptional attention to detail.

This is an exciting and challenging role fit for a proactive, responsible and motivated AM, junior AM or a senior Exec looking to step up into an Account Manager. As you will have 1-2 PPC executives reporting to you some prior people management/mentoring experience would be beneficial but not essential.

 

Specific Responsibilities Include:

  • Strong hands-on PPC experience working with Google and Yahoo/Bing, ideally gained managing DR campaigns, with an emphasis on and growth and ROI optimisation
  • Develop, manage, and coordinate paid search program strategies and satisfy the business requirements of client stakeholders at multiple levels
  • Present and communicate campaign strategies and report on results to clients during regular face-to-face meetings and conference calls
  • Work closely with Account Director and client to deliver business goals
  • Analyse ongoing results to identify campaign trends and key insights to help meet and exceed client goals
  • Continuously recommend ideas/strategies/tactics and formulate campaign optimization plans
  • Provide direct oversight, management, leadership and guidance to Account Executives
  • You will have:
  • Excellent organisational skills with ability to operate on a wide range of activities and projects at the same time.
  • Strong Excel skills and experience of bid management platforms and analytical tools for search optimisation, e.g. Marin or Kenshoo or DS3 and Google Analytics or Omniture

Job Description

New Media Co is looking for a Programmatic Display Account Manager to take ownership and manage the agency’s top tier PPC accounts. The role will involve a strong desire to grow and scale a programmatic campaign to a level of sophistication that delivers on both reach and CPA targets for our clients.

As an advocate of best practice, you will work towards meeting targets associated with the display and mobile display activity by identifying and implementing any optimisations needed to achieve client business goals. You have a desire for continuous improvement and always seek new opportunities for growing the client business and for improving internal team processes & procedures. You will be responsible for building and managing ongoing client relationships and liaising with internal stakeholders involved in digital planning.

Required qualifications include, Previous Ad Serving experience either at a trading desk or agency, Analytical thinking - Interpret reported numbers and identify trends, Numerate and comfortable working on large spreadsheets, DFA and DBM experience, Ad operation/trafficking/campaign management in both standard and rich media, Booking technology.

 

Specific Responsibilities Include:

  • Management of RTB campaigns with a proven track record of delivering results against client objectives
  • Manage and co-ordinate direct reports to deliver multiple projects
  • Media forecasting, planning, booking, and reconciling of digital campaigns
  • In depth knowledge of ad serving technologies such as DoubleClick Campaign Manager and the ability to demonstrate a technical knowledge of the space.
  • Trafficking Campaigns – create click-through URLs (Creative/Text Links); plus tracking and conversion tags.
  • Campaign reporting, analytics & recommendations – CPA, CPM or CPC metrics, monitoring KPI targets against actuals.
  • Develop and maintain strong working relationships with key partners and seek first-to-market opportunities across the competitive landscape
  • Ability to present complex subjects with clear rationales and recommendations, while working independently
  • Negotiate publisher rates to reduce costs and gain added value
  • Ability to analyse a mature Display campaign to identify opportunities and innovation
