Gareth Williams is the CEO and co-founder of Skyscanner. He created the business with two friends – Barry Smith and Bonamy Grimes. Skyscanner is a travel search engine that has been operating since 2002.
The company began with a team of three and has since grown into a global company with over 800 employees. They have offices in Edinburgh, Glasgow, London, Singapore, Sofia, Beijing, Miami, Budapest, Barcelona, Shenzhen, and Tokyo. Skyscanner is available in over 30 languages and used by 60 million people every month. It allows users to compare prices on travel fares.
Williams, prior to working at Skyscanner, worked as a developer for M&S and Nation’s Bank. He has a BS in Computer Science and Maths from the University of Manchester.
Williams lives and works in Edinburgh.
