Product Review – Bigstock

21st June 2017 / Product Reviews / The Creative One

Bigstock is a stock photo site with over 50 million photos, videos and vectors. At New Media Co, we use Bigstock images for the creatives we produce for our clients, and for use on websites and social media.

Bigstock was acquired by Shutterstock in 2009, and was subsequently renamed from its previous name of BigStockPhoto. The images on the site are sorted into categories including Food, Nature, Landscapes and so on, for ease of search if you are looking for an image in a specific category. These images have been provided by a vast number of photographers and artists around the world. Bigstock is fast and easy to use, with a very user-friendly interface, and a useful search function.

The royalty free images can be used for almost any purpose. This means that the site is useful to most individuals and businesses who might wish to use stock images. This may include people in the creative industry, writers of editorials and news sites, or even large businesses.

You can pay for either a daily or monthly cap of images. The daily packages range from 5 a day to 50 a day, while the monthly packages range from 10 a month to 200 a month.
